How do I start working with you?
You must first be a bona fide licensed travel agent then by completing the registration application (click here) on this web site. Once accepted we will provide you access to our system via your own email address and a password.
How do I make online bookings?
Once we issue you with your password you can access the booking engine through this site. You are then able to search, place a booking on hold for 24hrs or book and pay immediately. Alternatively we have the technology to integrate our booking system into your own web site which can then be preset with the margin you would like to earn.
What products and services are available?
We are primarily an accommodation supplier but we also offer transfers, car hire, golf and insurance. All products are exclusively available online.
Can Pro Travel Solutions be contacted by phone?
A full team of professional, experienced support agents are standing by for any queries or questions, bookings can be made over the telephone however the need only normally arises for telephone booking when they are outside weekly intervals, such as a ten day accommodation stay.
How do the payments work?
All on-line bookings are paid for through the web site; however we are able to offer different payment methods to suit your business, please ask when we set up your contract.
Do the general public have access to the online booking system?
No, Pro Travel Solutions only work exclusively with the trade on a wholesale basis, passwords are not provided to anyone else unless the access is provided through a retail travel agent and is marked up for retail sale.
All reservations have immediate confirmation; Is it possible to make reservations ‘on request’?
All reservations are online with immediate availability and confirmation. However you can put accommodation on hold for twenty four hours, which can also be extended each twenty four hours to enable you to confirm flights etc.
How many reservations can an agent have on hold at one time?
When your agency starts to use the GDS you log in via a password and email address for each password and email provided you are able to put five reservations on hold. Larger agencies tend to have several log in for their staff working from one contract.
What is the cancellation policy for all bookings?
Once a booking is confirmed and paid there is no cancellation and adequate travel insurance should be in place to cover this possible outcome.
Is there a set up cost for access to the system?
Yes, for bona fide travel agents who require access to the system for bookings there is a set up cost. If the agency has an on-line presence and would like the GDS to appear customised to suit their own site there is a cost, depending on the level of programming needed, for which we will be happy to give you a quote.
